Each VIVIFY HDMI cable goes through extensive quality control testing before being packaged and sold to users. Our signal quality test is executed at 4 stages during the manufacturing process. The first test is done after the HDMI cable soldering is performed, the second test is done after cable hardware assembly (lens dispensing), a 3rd test is performed after the header assembly, and finally, the last test is before packaging the final product. This ensures that every major step of the manufacturing process does not affect the signal quality.

To perform the signal quality test, VIVIFY uses a QD780 video generator/analyzer. Made by Quantum, one of the most reliable video signal test equipment vendors in North America, the QD780 is a testing machine that can generate a 4K - 60Hz and  4:4:4 pixel encoding signal to test both the display end and source end of a cable at once.

After the cable successfully passes the QD780 test, our QC team will then simulate a real-life situation by connecting the VIVIFY HDMI cable to a 4K TV and a 4K Blu-ray DVD player. Only the HDMI cable that passes these two strict processes in the four-step testing can finally go to market, guaranteed to work on 4K devices without any problem.
